The Invermere Public Library is incredibly grateful for any and all donations made to help support the free, integral services we provide to the Columbia Valley community. Below are a few ways you can donate and help support us.
Donate at the Library
Cash, cheque, and card payment donations are accepted at the library anytime. Thank you for supporting the library and our community!
Donate to our Endowment Fund
Create a lasting legacy by donating to the Invermere Public Library Endowment Fund, created through the Columbia Valley Community Foundation. Please visit our Endowment donation page here.
Donate online through PayPal
We accept donations through our PayPal account. Click on the button below and donate today using a major credit card or through your own PayPal account. Thank you very much for supporting the Invermere Public Library!
Note: The library is charged a service fee of 1.6% plus $0.30 for donations made through PayPal. The service fee is deducted from your donation amount. Please consider adding this service fee onto your donation in exchange for the convenience of this service. For example: $10=$0.46 service fee; $25=$0.70 service fee; $50=$1.10 service fee; $100=$1.90 service fee.
**If your donation is for something specific, please add a note when processing your donation through PayPal under the “Add special instructions to the seller”.**
Adopt a Book
Adopting a book is a great way to support your library, recognize a friend or loved one, and give a gift to that person who has everything. It’s simple! You can print out and fill out the form, check which collection you would like to add to, and drop it off at the library. We also have forms available at the front desk. Cash, cheque or card payment accepted. Donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Donate Used Books
The Friends of the Library have a Book Donation Centre across the street from the library. It is the grey shed next to the Invermere Courthouse at 645 4th St. There is a bin outside the shed that you can drop donations off at anytime. These donations go towards the annual BIG Book Sale and smaller sales throughout the year, hosted by the Friends of the Library. Head to the Friends of the Library page for information on all the great work they do, and how to get involved!
Please note: the Friends do not accept textbooks, Reader’s Digest, dictionaries, or encyclopaedias.
