Public Access Computers
- Two terminals available on a first come, first serve basis.
- There is no charge to use the computers and no library card needed.
- Computers have Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel for patron use.
Wi-Fi Access Points

Each Wi-Fi access point is available free of charge and the connection reaches the benches outside the building.
Photocopies/Printing
We accept cash or card payment. Please note there is a minimum charge of $1.00 for card payment. No library membership required to use these services.
Black and White Printing
- Letter size (8.5″ x 11″): $0.25 per page, per side
- Legal size (8.5″ x 14″): $0.30 per page, per side
- Ledger size (11″ x 17″): $0.55 per page, per side
Colour Printing
- Letter size (8.5″ x 11″): $0.75 per page, per side
- Legal size (8.5″ x 14″): $1.00 per page, per side
- Ledger size (11″ x 17″): $1.25 per page, per side
Please note: Prices are per side. A double-sided black and white print is $0.50
Scanning
Scanning to email is a free service. We only charge for printing costs.
Faxing

- $0.25 for each additional page
- Outside of Canada
- $2.50 for the first page
- $0.25 for each additional page

Computer Training
Our librarians are available to assist you with basic computer questions about items such as search engines, social media, and email on an appointment basis.
CBAL offers Tech Time one-on-one appointments on Thursdays (schedule varies throughout the year). Please contact the library to book an appointment.
